- The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading small work teams in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, unionized manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise 30-40 hourly employees in a unionized environment.
- Maintain staffing levels, including managing call‑offs and reassignments .
- Drive continuous improvement using Lean, SIS, WCM, or similar methodologies Coach, lead, and develop team members to improve performance
- Collaborate with plant pillars and cross‑functional teams Enforce consistent work rules and support a positive labor‑management relationship Identify and resolve production issues promptly and effectively
Must‑Have Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills Effective problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities Proven experience supervising or managing people
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Manufacturing experience (highly preferred) in a Manufacturing workforce.
- Prior experience leading a crew or production team Experience working in a union environment Background with Lean, WCM, Kaizen, SIS, or other CI methodologies
Additional Notes
- Union experience is not required; however, emotional control, professionalism, and strong communication are essential.
- Any Lean‑related continuous improvement experience is acceptable; SIS training will be provided.
