What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Doctor/Nurse Practitioner-On Call I (Part Time) position at US Tech Solutions?
Duration: 12 months contract
Work schedule:
• Part-Time - 4-8 hours per week.
• Hours may vary depending on our census.
Description:
• Contract Research Physician/Nurse Practitioner at Clinical Pharmacology Research Unit.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for obtaining medical history and performing physical examination of healthy volunteers and research subjects.
• Responsible for assessment and reporting of serious adverse events per corporate policy and regulations for assigned protocols.
• Responsible for review of Investigator Brochures, Clinical Study reports, regulatory submissions and responses, and other program documents.
• Stays abreast of professional information and technology through conferences, medical literature, and other available training, to augment expertise in the therapeutic area.
• Responsible for understanding the regulatory requirements related to clinical studies and global drug development and accountable for complying with those requirements.
• Ensures adherence to Good Clinical Practices, pharmacovigilance standards, standard operating procedures and to all other quality standards in conducting research.
Top skills:
• Licensed to practice in Illinois.
• 3 years minimum experience of practicing.
• Work collaboratively and lead cross-functional teams.
• Communication and documentation is key.
• Time management skills and willingness to work in a fast moving, highly structured and regulated clinical research environment.
Education and certification:
• Medical Doctor (M.D.), Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) or non-US equivalent of M.D. degree with relevant therapeutic specialty in an academic or hospital environment.
• Completion of a residency program strongly preferred. Completion of a subspecialty fellowship is desirable.
Preferred qualifications:
• BLS/ACLS, otherwise will be provided.
• Experience in clinical research.
