Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Job Description:

• Support production line installation activities via procurement of services, equipment, and parts, design of simple fixtures, assemblies and stands, and interfacing with 3rd party contractors.
• The candidate should be able to apply scientific and technological principles encompassed in mechanics, hydraulics, and machine design in support of the design, production, operation, and use of machinery of all types.

 Responsibilities

• Requires understanding and application of standard mechanical engineering methodologies with general knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Able to read blue prints and part drawings and familiarity with CAD.
• Provides technical solutions to a wide range of installation problems.
• Works under minimal direction, supporting a Lead Engineer bu independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. Frequent inter organizational and/or external contacts.
• Represents the organization.
• Strong working relationships outside of immediate work group.

 Experience:

• 3-7 years of experience in Manufacturing.
• Highly hands-on role involving a range of physical tasks, including drilling, fastening, and related assembly work
• Direct participation in installation and setup activities, while also supporting and interfacing with external contractors and service providers responsible for lead installation.

 Education:

• Minimum of HS Diploma 7 years' experience in Manufacturing,
• or BS in a technical field 3 years' experience

 Schedule:

• M-F: 8 AM - 5 AM, OT as needed
