What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Program Manager position at US Tech Solutions?

Duration- 5 Months Contract


Description:

  • The nature of the work is focused on defining tools and processes to support overall organizational excellence in program/project management and process definition. Vision and Strategy: Develops vision, strategy and deliverables of the large international Program.
  • Ensures program is aligned with business strategies and budgets.
  • Owns the business case for the Program, establishes and maintains cross functional and regional coordination.
  • Organization, Planning and Execution: Maintains ultimate responsibility regarding program objectives operating within financial and resource constraints; Manages project dependencies within the program and builds the program team. Ensures vendor contracts, relationships, performance, and communications are well managed.
  • Project Management Support: Ensures proper Project Management staffing for all projects within the program; helps develop project objectives and project scope.
  • Act as an escalation point for project issues that impact projects' cost, schedule and / or performance. Chairs program steering committee meetings.


Typically requires a Bachelors Degree and minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience; experience should include comprehensive experience as a business/process leader or industry expert Note: One of the following alternatives may be accepted: - PhD or Law 8 yrs; Masters 9 yrs; Associates degree 11 yrs; High School 12 yrs.


Required

  • Degree required for this role; minimum Bachelor’s, but would prefer MBA
  • PMP certification nice to have, not required
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience required in a program/project management role


Top must-have skills include the following:

  • Expert using Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
  • Organized
  • Proactive in communication
  • Stakeholder engagement; ETW will be working directly with high-level execs and VPs, so effective communication is necessary
  • Effective communication (verbal and written) skills


Skills that would make a candidate stand out:

  • Possesses an MBA degree
  • Previous program/project management experience in an HR/organizational transformation space
