Job Summary
We are looking for an HR Data & Workday Analyst to support an organizational design initiative by capturing, validating, analyzing, and preparing organization structure data for downstream HR systems. The role will work closely with HR, Workforce Planning, Organizational Design, and HRIS/Workday teams to ensure organizational data is accurate, complete, and ready for system updates.
The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, comfortable working with large HR/workforce datasets, and has hands-on experience with Workday EIBs, data loads, and data validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Support organizational design and workforce transformation initiatives through accurate collection and preparation of organization structure data.
- Capture and consolidate data related to organizational units, departments, positions, managers, reporting relationships, job structures, and workforce attributes.
- Review, cleanse, reconcile, and validate HR and organizational data to identify inconsistencies and data quality issues.
- Use advanced Excel capabilities, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, formulas, filters, and data analysis techniques, to analyze and manipulate large datasets.
- Prepare organization data files for downstream HR systems and support Workday EIBs and data loads.
- Perform pre- and post-load validation in Workday and reconcile system data against source files.
- Partner with HR, HRIS, Organizational Design, and Workforce Planning stakeholders to clarify data requirements and resolve discrepancies.
- Strong experience working with HR, workforce, employee, or organizational data.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, lookups, formulas, data cleansing, and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with Workday, preferably including EIBs, data loads, and data validation.
- Ability to work with large datasets and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, HR transformation, or restructuring initiatives.
- Understanding of organizational hierarchies, supervisory organizations, positions, jobs, departments, and reporting structures.
- Experience with HRIS data conversion, mass updates, or data migration activities.
