Description:
The Sr. Data Scientist will be responsible for modeling complex business problems and discovering actionable business insights through advanced analytics, machine learning, deep learning, AI governance, automation, and predictive modeling. This role will collaborate with leadership, SMEs, business partners, and IT teams to design and implement AI-driven solutions, analytics platforms, and visualization products that support operational efficiency, risk mitigation, compliance, and strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, deploy, and support AI/ML solutions, including LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI applications to improve operational efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
• Implement AI/ML models, tools, technologies, and AI-driven applications across enterprise environments.
• Develop and manage end-to-end AI pipelines and AI architectures with secure integration into enterprise systems and cloud platforms.
• Apply AI Governance and MLOps best practices for scalable and reliable AI operations.
• Develop and maintain AI governance frameworks, including AI lifecycle management, model monitoring, explainability, bias detection, and compliance controls.
• Lead efforts in identifying business insights using data mining, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and business intelligence techniques.
• Research and implement cutting-edge AI/ML/deep learning technologies to optimize data analysis and operational decision-making.
• Build automated anomaly detection systems and continuously monitor model performance and accuracy.
• Process, cleanse, validate, and analyse structured and unstructured datasets from multiple enterprise sources.
• Design, test, and develop reporting and visualization solutions that provide meaningful operational and strategic insights.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis and present complex analytical findings in a simple and actionable manner.
• Support financial planning, business cases, economic development analysis, customer and stakeholder insights, and regulatory reporting initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions align with regulatory, ethical, security, and operational standards.
• Support development of AI observability tools and monitoring pipelines to ensure transparency and accountability of AI-driven decisions.
• Extend and enhance enterprise data sources with third-party data when required.
• Use big data tools and advanced analytics techniques to identify hidden trends, patterns, and relationships in large datasets.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and guidance to internal teams to strengthen organizational AI and data science capabilities.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, LLMs, Generative AI, and Agentic AI technologies.
• Hands-on experience in AI model development, deployment, operationalization, and monitoring.
• Strong understanding of AI architecture, enterprise AI pipelines, cloud-based AI platforms, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with AI Governance, MLOps, model lifecycle management, explainability, fairness, and bias detection frameworks.
• Expertise in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, mathematical optimization, and data mining techniques.
• Strong experience with data visualization, reporting, and business intelligence tools.
• Ability to communicate complex data models and analytical insights in a clear and business-friendly manner.
• Experience working with structured and unstructured datasets and big data technologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, Operations Research, Decision Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, machine learning, deep learning, or AI-related roles.
• 10 years of relevant experience is highly preferred
