1st Shift Team Leader: 7am - 3pm (Possible OT)
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Team Leader for our Quality Sort department to oversee the inspection and sorting processes within our manufacturing operations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the Quality Sort team to ensure efficient and accurate inspection processes.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures aligned with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, HACCP, CGMP, and FDA regulations.
- Conduct regular quality audits to verify compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines to perform detailed inspections.
- Oversee the use of vision inspection systems and other advanced quality inspection tools to identify defects or deviations.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for process improvement.
- Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues promptly and prevent recurrence.
- Ensure proper documentation of inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
- Facilitate training sessions on quality systems, calibration procedures, and measurement techniques.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by applying analysis skills and best practices in quality management.
Experience
- Proven experience in manufacturing quality assurance or control roles, preferably within regulated industries such as medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 standards, FDA regulations, HACCP principles, and CGMP guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of quality inspection techniques using tools like calipers, micrometers, vision systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis skills to support decision-making processes.
- Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure adherence to quality standards.
