Upholstery & Wood Repair Field Technician

US Quality Furniture Services has delivered in‑home care for 30 years, partnering with retailers such as La‑Z‑Boy, Macy’s, and Ashley Furniture. We keep politics out and people first—offering independence, mutual respect, and a support network led by former field technicians.

• Work independently in the field, starting and ending your day from home
• Travel in your personal vehicle to customers’ homes (mileage and business use reimbursed; no company vehicle provided)
• Average 10 appointments per day, ~30 minutes each
• Complete digital reports after each visit
• No furniture carrying, delivery, or hauling

• Repair and restore: wood touch‑ups, leather fixes, upholstery and sewing, part installation
• Troubleshoot mechanisms and power‑motion components
• Communicate findings and solutions professionally on site

• Key traits: strong people skills, a clear background record, and basic smartphone knowledge
• Technical base: mechanical aptitude and hands‑on furniture repair experience (or the drive to learn)
• Requirements: reliable transportation and core tools—staple gun, sewing kit, basic hand tools, and cordless power tools

• Paid onboarding with local ride‑alongs
• Advanced training at our Pittsburgh, PA facility—airfare, hotel, rental car, and meals covered
• Curriculum includes wood, leather, upholstery, and power‑motion repair
• Leaders who started in the field, ready to back you up

• Full‑time W‑2 role with comprehensive insurance options
