Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Assembler to support mechanical and electrical assembly efforts for high-precision production programs. This role is ideal for candidates with strong soldering skills, cable assembly experience, and the ability to perform intricate work under a microscope. The Electronic Assembler will contribute directly to the build, inspection, and quality assurance of complex electronic components and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble electronic components, subassemblies, and modules by interpreting samples, visual aids, blueprints, wiring diagrams, routing instructions, and process sheets.
- Perform precise soldering operations and build cable and wire harness assemblies using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Install relays, transformers, resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components in accordance with specifications.
- Utilize fasteners and mechanical hardware to support the build-up of electronic assemblies.
- Conduct detailed inspection of work—often under a microscope—to verify conformance to engineering and quality standards.
- Perform rework, repairs, and adjustments as needed to meet manufacturing requirements.
- Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams to meet deadlines, resolve issues, and support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or completion of a relevant trade school program (minimum two years).
- Proven experience with soldering techniques (certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience with cable assembly and wire termination.
- Proficiency working under a microscope for fine-pitch and precision assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Effective teamwork and communication skills.
