Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and contributing to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to upsell products, and proficiency in cash handling.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
• Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Provide support with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting inventory counts.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous retail experience is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Experience with product demos is a plus, showcasing your ability to sell effectively.
