Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the established quality standards through rigorous testing and inspection processes. You will work closely with various departments to maintain quality systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a commitment to excellence in quality assurance.
Conduct tests to determine quality of raw materials, bulk intermediate, and finished products. Conduct sample tests, line checks, and label/lot code creation. Help with the flow of work by printing work instruction for the production line. Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.
Shift:
2nd shift 6pm-6am
rotational schedule 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on (every other weekend) total days worked 7 days total hours 84 per pay period.
Every pay period guaranteed 8 hours of Overtime!
Salary: Starting pay $17.50 (pay based on experience).
Primary Job Duties
- Set up fill weights
- Verify line materials and lot numbers
- Line clearance verification after Production Supervisor has cleared the line.
- RAF - Report as Finished
- Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods.
- Train other analysts to perform laboratory procedures.
- Perform visual inspections of finished products.
- Participate in internal assessments and audits as required.
- Ensure that lab cleanliness and safety standards are maintained.
- Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
- Receive and inspect raw materials.
- Perform validations or transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
- Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
- Investigate or report questionable test results.
- Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
- Identify quality problems and recommend solutions.
- Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
- Calibrate, validate, or maintain laboratory equipment.
- Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses.
- Cleaning verification-swabbing
