Salary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Operations Data Specialist to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will manage billing and data entry to ensure accuracy, and timely invoicing that supports our drayage and warehousing operations. This role requires strong attention to detail.DutiesPerform comprehensive accurate data entry of delivery orders using accounting software such as Profit Tools.Daily tracking of cargo containers with the ports of LA/LB and rail yardsManaging timely updates and container releases in the Profit Tools TMSVerify booking numbers and equipment requirements with appropriate Steamship Lines for export shipmentsDaily billing for Drayage and warehouse operations in the Profit Tools TMS within 48 hours of delivery or transload cycleWork closely with Accounts Receivable to assist with any billing issues or discrepanciesRequirementsExperience with Profit Tools or similar TMS preferredEffective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer service experienceKnowledge of harbor drayage and/or harbor terminal and rail yard processesExcellent attention to detailProficiency in data entry with high accuracy
