USME is looking for an experienced Regional Sales Director to expand our account base in the U.S. USME is in a high growth mode, providing medical equipment services to hospitals and medical facilities across the nation.
Job Summary
This is a hands-on role that will require travel across the territory when supporting, managing, and training the business development representatives in your defined territory. The selected candidate will have a successful background in sales management, having managed a sales team in a specified territory with defined sales quotas. Preference may be given to candidates who have a background in medical equipment sales/leasing, medical sales, or healthcare.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and train a team of business development representatives (BDRs) in your defined territory
- Assist BDRs in prospecting and developing business to achieve quota
- Work with BDRs to develop proposals for presentation to customer
- Contact prospective customers to determine needs and perform sales presentations to match company's products and identified needs
- Schedule and steward regular regional sales team meetings team with aligned agenda
- Drive follow up and next actions via formal sales process to achieve revenue
- Maintain sales records and prepares sales reports as required
- Provide follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with products provided
- Understand competition in region and general business climate
- Remain knowledgeable of US Med-Equip’s service and equipment portfolio to facilitate sales effort
- Align resources (VP, Sales, CDO, and Strategic Alliance Team) to engage multiple buying influences at any key account
- Coordinate account resources internally with representatives from inside sales, marketing, equipment management, operations, and sales leadership
- Possess and continually develop and maintain the strongest of skills through advanced training, study, and work experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business or sales management required
- Minimum of ten years selling experience in medical sales
- Minimum of three years of sales team management required
- Experience creating focused, collaborative, results-driven teams
- Proven, consistent over achievement of sales quotas required
- Highly motivated sales starter and ability to work independently
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills required
- Excellent presentation skills required
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly required
- Must be extremely sensitive & adaptive to both stated and unstated customer needs
- Proven track record of exceeding customer expectations required
- Ironclad integrity required
