We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated part-time Data Scientist I to join our Strategic Analytics and Business Intelligence team. The position supports strategic initiatives across sales, operations, and logistics, contributing directly to business growth and efficiency.
A Day in the Life
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from internal ERP/CRM systems and external sources.
- Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support business decisions.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, IT, Finance) to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support executive leadership’s strategic decisions.
- Document methodologies and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Internship or project experience in data analytics or machine learning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Knowledge of healthcare operations or logistics is a plus.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
