Job Announcement: Security OfficerPosition: Security OfficerEmployment Type: Licensed or able to obtain licensing Location: Client Site (Retail Environment)Position OverviewSecurity Officers are responsible for maintaining a professional, visible security presence at assigned client locations. Officers must adhere strictly to post orders, scheduling requirements, and client expectations while providing courteous, customer-focused service.Required Duties and ResponsibilitiesSecurity Officers must, at all times while on duty or assigned to a post, perform the following duties:Report to work on time, as scheduled. Call on and off duty a site phone. Wear the required company uniform. Maintain a clean, neat, and well-groomed appearanceMaintain a pleasant, professional, and customer-friendly demeanor and posturePractice courtesy, diplomacy, respect, and good public relations at all timesGreet customers appropriately, when requested by store managementPerform all duties in an awake, alert, and ready mannerEstablish and maintain a visible position at the front of the store or another location as directed by Loss PreventionDirect customer requests for assistance to store management or customer service personnelObserve and report suspicious behavior to Loss Prevention or store management immediatelyWork only the hours authorized. Professional ExpectationsSecurity Officers are expected to comply fully with all post orders, scheduling requirements, uniform standards, and client protocols at all times while on duty.  Must possess a valid Maryland State Guard Card or be eligible to obtain one, with no disqualifying criminal background.

Salary : $15 - $17
