What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internet Cabling Technician position at US Internet Corp?
US Internet is seeking professional, driven and motivated candidates for entry level position. 8:00AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. Our Cabling Crews are responsible for the installation of our Ethernet (Cat6) cabling infrastructure in apartment and commercial buildings served by our fiber optic network.
Technicians are provided a company vehicle or transportation and all necessary tools during work hours and expected to complete their scheduled appointments within the time allowed. Responsibilities include the installation, testing, and optimization of the cable plant and the integrity of the work performed. This team is also called on to assist with installing underground fiber, infrastructure projects and other improvement projects within the company.
The teams primary objective is to run network cable from a terminated jack in each unit or location of a building to a central location where the networking hardware is installed and ensuring that all cable is properly attached and secured to the building. This is a great job for someone who really wants to get into the tech field but no formal training and is not familiar with home networking.

All candidates must have a valid Driver License with no or minimal moving violations and clear a background check. All team members are provided a company vehicle and all necessary tools during work hours. These positions report our Minneapolis location. Technicians should have the ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and preform duties outdoors, in the elements and often times on a ladder or roof top.
