HVAC Installer / HVAC Service Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer/Service Technician to join our team of professionals in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HVAC systems, a commitment to providing excellent service, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install complete heating and air conditioning systems, including ductwork, ventilation, and control systems, adhering to industry standards and local building codes.
• Perform repairs on HVAC equipment, including diagnosing issues, replacing faulty components, and testing system functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC systems, ensuring proper operation, energy efficiency, and adherence to manufacturer recommendations.
• Perform system startups and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues that may arise during installation or maintenance.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure project objectives are met and customer expectations are exceeded.
• Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring proper documentation and communication with clients and coworkers.
• Stay informed about new products, techniques, and advancements in the HVAC field to enhance service offerings and professional development.

Qualifications:

• EPA certification (Type I, Type II, or Universal) required.
• Completion of an HVAC training program or apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of basic electrical work and its application in HVAC systems.
• Physical ability to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and maneuvering in various environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
