Vascular Sonographer | Davis Vein and Vascular | Houston, TX
US Heart and Vascular is in need of a PRN Vascular Sonographer to join our team at Davis Vein and Vascular in North Houston, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations including lower extremity arterial, venous including insufficiency/ reflux scans, carotids, ABIs and abdominal studies.
- Assist physicians in vein procedures such as vein mapping, vein ablations, sclerotherapy, and ultrasound-guided access. Experience preferred, not required.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic interpretation.
- Educate and prepare patients for vein procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Knowledge, Skills and Requirements
- Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Must be experienced and work independently in a very busy private vascular practice setting.
- BLS/CPR preferred
- Active credentials by either ARDMS or CCI.
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday – 2-3 days a week is preferred.
- No nights/no weekends
- Sonographer will need to be available to travel to different office locations as needed.
