This position is part of the Government Secure and Intelligent Documents, Government Publishing Office in Washington, DC.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the Supervisory Supply Management Specialist, PG-2003-13, you must meet the following requirements:

Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the PG-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience includes:

(1) Applying manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and supply processes to coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and resolve carrier delays and routing issues; and
(2) Establishing criteria to identify and analyze trends in supply programs and manufacturing waste in order to detect and address discrepancies; and
(3) Leading or overseeing employees in supply chain operations, including the oversight, tracking, accuracy, compliance, and loss prevention of high value inventory items.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
