At Zaal Ventures, we operate several successful nationwide tour companies, including ghost tours, food tours, and brewery/drink bus tours. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Operations Manager to oversee tour scheduling, guide coordination, and daily logistics across 50 cities. This role requires strong scheduling, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth tour operations every day.
This is a 100% remote, full-time W-2 position. Applicants must reside in the United States and be fluent in English.
Key Responsibilities - What You’ll Do:
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for scheduling, logistics, and team coordination to ensure our tours run seamlessly across multiple cities. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Manage complex scheduling for tour guides across 50 cities, ensuring availability aligns with tour demand.
- Oversee and optimize daily operations for multiple small tour companies, ensuring smooth execution.
- We have a separate recruiting department, but you will train, and onboard new staff across 50 cities, ensuring they are well-prepared for their roles.
- Monitor scheduling accuracy and guide availability, making adjustments as needed to maximize tour openings.
- Provide top-tier customer service, handling customer inquiries, resolving scheduling conflicts, processing refunds, and managing reviews.
- Communicate with staff and contractors, ensuring all tour logistics are coordinated effectively.
Qualifications - What We’re Looking For:
The ideal Remote Operations Manager is an expert in scheduling, operations management, and customer service. You should be comfortable managing a large volume of schedules while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
- 4 years of operations or management experience, preferably in customer service, logistics, or hospitality.
- Ability to support east coast staff and customers.
- Proven experience in scheduling and logistics management across multiple locations.
- Availability for evening shifts as needed
- Weekend availability (Saturday & Sunday) with one flexible weekend off per month.
- A professional and dependable work ethic, with a positive and proactive attitude.
