Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hydrologic Technician to join our dynamic environmental team. Duties
Streamflow measurements, data analysis, upgrades to existing stream gages, and installation of new gages, levels at gages and computation, and analysis of surface water and water quality data sets. Office work involves processing hydrologic and water quality data. This position requires work from a motorized or non-motorized watercraft, working at heights off bridges, and traversing over rough terrain during adverse weather.
Requirements
- Proven experience practicing in an environmental science or related role with a focus on hydrology or water resources.
- Strong technical writing skills for preparing reports and documentation.
- Hands-on outdoor work experience including environmental field sampling.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for data analysis, report writing, and project documentation.
- Ability to operate field equipment safely following OSHA guidelines while working in diverse outdoor conditions.
- Excellent research skills combined with strong analysis skills to interpret complex hydrological data accurately.
