Employee Relations Investigator

As an Employee Relations Investigator in the Workforce Relations Center, OHRM, you will conduct workplace investigations and address employee relations and HR compliance matters.

Location of position: Positions may be filled in Washington, DC; Kansas City, MO; Lakewood, CO; Tacoma, WA; Raleigh, NC; Chicago, IL; Fort Worth, TX; Boston, MA; Atlanta, GA; New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; and Philadelphia, PA.

The GS-13 salary range starts at $108,173 per year.  If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.  Locality pay will be determined upon selection.

To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience investigating administrative matters concerning misconduct, harassment in the workplace and other administrative violations of federal and regulatory policies and laws; preparing an investigation plan, developing interview questions, interviewing witnesses, gathering and analyzing physical evidence, and writing comprehensive, legally sufficient investigative reports; collaborating with external stakeholders on all aspects of the investigative process.
