Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Fire Pump Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for fabricating custom industrial firefighting pump systems, trailers, and piping manifolds from raw materials. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled fabricator who can interpret engineering drawings, work independently, and take pride in building high-quality equipment that protects lives and property around the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- Fabricate industrial firefighting pump systems, trailers, manifolds, and related equipment from raw materials.
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, piping diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
- Lay out, fit, cut, and assemble carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
- Perform pipe fitting, structural fabrication, and equipment installation.
- Fabricate pressure piping, structural frames, skids, and support assemblies.
- Verify dimensions and ensure components meet engineering specifications.
- Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, drill presses, ironworkers, and other shop equipment.
- Work closely with welders, engineers, and production personnel to complete projects safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong pipefitting and mechanical fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and piping schematics.
- Experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel; aluminum fabrication experience is a plus.
- Experience fabricating pressure vessels, tanks, process piping, or industrial equipment is highly desirable.
- Ability to accurately measure, lay out, and fabricate components with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fabrication shop environment.
Engineering/Design Experience Preferred:
Candidates with experience in any of the following are especially encouraged to apply:

- Structural steel fabrication
- Trailer fabrication
- ASME or industrial fabrication environments
