What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tool Room C position at US Farathane?
US Farathane is seeking an experienced Tool Room Associate C. Update and ensure preventative mold maintenance on all molds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Include the following. Must be able to do full rotation. Other duties may be assigned.
- Load and unload trucks - have packing slip on all outgoing molds.
- Be on 24-hour call.
- Be able to trouble shoot electrical/hydraulic systems on molds.
- Review all new tools to Port Huron standard and document.
- Anything deemed necessary for the safe, efficient operation of the plant, including using or wearing all PPE including hard hat.
- It is the responsibility of all employees to take corrective action for all non-conforming items identified by the employee.
- Perform other duties as required for the safe, efficient operation of the plant and its employees.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as they relate to overall efficiency Plant Operation.
- Environmental Responsibilities- Cooperation with action team directives. Familiar with evacuation plans. Trained in clean-up modules. Familiar with environmental plant postings.
- Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position becomes vacant, the Tool Leader A will resume responsibilities.
- Complete and document mold preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:

- Must have lock-out tag-out training
- Good math skills.
- Be on 24-hour call.
- Good mechanical abilities.
- Understands all aspects of a tool build.
- Understands proper way of using equipment in tool room.
- Complete required training as required.
- Education and/or Experience- One year certificate from college or technical school; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certificates, Licenses, Registrations- Hi lo license, rigging, and crane training required
