Delta Technologies is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a Bench Hand who can deburr. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Polish cavities to high finishes.
- Draw polishing ribs.
- Basic disassemble and assemble of molds.
- Contour ejector pins.
- Spot hand loaded loose pieces and parting line.
- Spot cores, cavities, slides and lifters.
- Bench and polish to A-2 finish.
- Provide an efficient lineup for the next shift.
- Maintain and repair molds.
- Maintain adherence to company policies, safety/ergonomic standards, and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications
- Knowledge to use benching power tools (grinders, profilers, etc.).
- Knowledge to identify part from shut off as well as master shut off areas.
- Knowledge of the different steels of trade and the polishing traits.
- Knowledge of the different stones, papers, polishing compounds and their use.
- Knowledge of the SP finishes of the trade.
- Ability to use measuring equipment to verify dimensions (micrometers, telescoping gauges, calipers, dial indicators, etc.).
- Good comprehension of mold design required.
- Must have good interpersonal skills, intermediate computer skills, ability to multitask, and good written and verbal communication skills.
