Job Summary: The Regional Manager for North Carolina/Virginia is responsible for operations leadership resulting in improved patient satisfaction, increased clinical and professional revenues, improved staff efficiency and reduced costs. This individual has overall responsibility for operations in assigned clinics across the region.
Essential Job Functions
- Provide leadership and operational oversight for 4-5 eyecare clinics.
- Manage assigned locations to achieve monthly/quarterly/annual revenue goals, including oversight of staffing model, staff hours/overtime.
- Responsible for personnel management including direct management of Location Leads, selecting and retaining front office and clinical staff; setting expectations; facilitating development; and evaluating performance.
- Manage monthly physician and staffing schedules in partnership with Location Leads.
- Serve as main point of contact for MORs for assigned locations.
- Overall responsibility for ensuring the facility reflects the company’s standards for patient care.
- Address second-tier patient concerns and other escalated inquiries.
- Ensure regulatory and organizational compliance across all locations.
- Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and manage time accordingly to meet deadlines and requirements of the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Smart, results oriented and high energy professional with a track record of success.
- Strong work ethic, hands-on individual who can achieve long term systematic process improvements.
- At least 3 years of previous management and operations experience within a multi-site healthcare organization. Ophthalmology/optical vision care organization experience preferred.
- Proficient in EHR systems and operational analytics.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- The position requires candidate to be local to the Chesapeake, VA region.
- Travel within market approximately 3-4 days per week.
