Key Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile drapes.
- Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to sterile techniques and infection control protocols.
- Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and accounted for before and after procedures.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and respond promptly during surgeries.
- Document surgical procedures and maintain accurate records as required.
- Participate in inventory management and restocking of surgical supplies.
- Comply with all hospital policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Scrub Technician (CST) or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a surgical or operating room environment preferred.
