At US Equipment Sales and Rentals, we are a leading provider of aggregate and heavy
equipment solutions, proudly serving the construction, mining, and infrastructure

experienced Accounting Manager to join our dynamic team and support our financial
operations as we grow. This position will report directly to the CFO.
Position: Accounting Manager
Type: Full-time
Location: Lemont, IL-onsite
Pay range: $125,000-$135,000
Responsibilities for this position:
Financial Reporting: Prepare and ensure accuracy of financial statements, including
balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, adhering to GAAP
principles.
Management: Manage processes and staff to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting,
including reconciliations and financial analysis
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist with the annual budget process and periodic updates
to budget to provide forecasts.
Expense Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of expense variances, providing insights to
management for cost control and decision-making.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and
implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Tax Compliance: Assist in preparing documentation for tax filings, ensuring compliance
with relevant tax regulations.
Audit Support: Lead the annual audit process, work with external auditors and provide
necessary financial documentation and support.
Qualifications and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Master’s degree/CPA is desired.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive accounting experience, a combination of public and
related industry is ideal. Public accounting experience is preferential.
Self-starter with strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and train a team
Demonstrated expertise in general ledger accounting operational cycles, including ownership
of closing process
Demonstrated strong technical accounting knowledge, including US GAAP with ability to
work independently
High level of organization, accuracy and ability to manage to deadlines
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbal
