About the Role
This is an opportunity to work with a growing manufacturing company launching and scaling a new division focused on innovative dust and waste management solutions for the woodworking industry. This is an opportunity to build and own a division from the ground up.
We are seeking a sales person with existing experience in the woodworking industry who understands the dealer landscape, speaks the language of the customer, and can drive adoption of a product that is already gaining strong traction. You will take ownership of this division’s growth by developing dealer relationships across the country, expanding market awareness, and helping build the foundation for a scalable sales organization.
Responsibilities
Take ownership of a grassroots division startup and drive its expansion. Develop and execute a strategy to grow awareness and revenue within the woodworking market. Help shape the long-term direction of the division, including structure and growth strategy.
Call on woodworking dealers and OEMs nationwide to introduce and expand distribution. Build
and maintain strong relationships within the industry and establish credibility quickly.
Promote a differentiated product that shifts the market from basic waste collection to true waste management and control. Educate dealers and end users on product value and identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams to support cross-sell opportunities and convert leads into revenue. Manage pipeline activity, track progress, and consistently exceed performance targets. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.
Play a key role in scaling the division over time, including contributing to the development and growth of a future sales team as the business expands.
Qualifications
Experience in the woodworking industry is strongly preferred, including experience with OEMs, dealers, or manufacturer representatives. Proven ability to sell into or through dealer networks.
Existing relationships within the woodworking dealer network are highly preferred.
Strong ownership mindset with the ability to build and grow something new. Confident communicator with the ability to establish credibility quickly. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills. Ability to sell through distribution channels as well as directly to end users when needed.
Additional Information
Occasional travel is required to visit dealers, customers, and industry events. Must be comfortable working in industrial and manufacturing environments as needed. Standard office and computer work required.
Salary : $140,000
