Position Summary
US Engine Production Inc. is seeking an experienced Machinist with CNC experience to perform precision machining of automotive and industrial diesel engine blocks and components according to established procedures and company standards.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in an engine machining environment.
Essential Responsibilities
- Operate and set up CNC machines for machining diesel engine components
- Perform machining processes on industrial and automotive diesel engine blocks, cylinder heads, and crankshafts
- Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and quality standards
- Use lift and hoist equipment to safely move engine components
- Operate hand tools, air tools, and electric power tools
- Use torque wrenches and power angle drivers accurately
- Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
- Maintain strict attention to detail and quality control
- Keep work area clean and safe
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Experience operating CNC machining equipment
- Experience in engine machining (block boring, resurfacing, crankshaft reconditioning, etc.)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of industrial and automotive engine components
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills
