Job Summary:

Disassemble industrial & automotive diesel and gasoline engines according to established procedure and instructions.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform complete disassembly of industrial and automotive diesel and gasoline engines while following all company instructions and guidelines.
  • Use lift and hoist equipment to move engines and parts.
  • Use care and attention when handling engine components.
  • Skillfully use hand, air and electric power tools in the disassembly of engines.
  • Clean and inspect parts for excessive wear, before tagging and storing them.
  • Work with Engine Dismantlers as needed to learn the technics of proper engine disassembly.
  • Maintain attention to detail under varying circumstances.
  • Comply with all safety standards, while maintaining a neat, clean, and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a self-motivated, hardworking, dependable person.
  • Must possess the ability to work alongside co-workers in a designated area.
  • Must have the ability to follow directions, and accept constructive feedback.
  • Must be a safety conscious person.
  • Must be adaptable and willing to perform duties beyond their normal duties.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and carry weights up to 50 lbs.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8-4:30 pm
