Job Description: Fuel Terminal seeking a Terminal Operator Trainee to join an experienced team with the goal of having an individual transition to the role of Terminator Operator within 2-6 months upon successful completion of our brief training program. Relative job duties referenced below.
Fuel Terminal Operator Job Duties:
- Train and assist drivers and Carriers on the proper use of the automated loading system
- Set up new Drivers
- Coordinate product deliveries
- Complete various maintenance tasks to include but not limited to repairs/maintenance of terminal equipment, maintain grounds, grass/snow removal, conduct regular PM, operate pumps, valves, fork-lift, pressure wash/paint, etc.
- Complete daily record keeping, process/post BL’s
- Reconcile tank inventory daily
- Complete OHSA safety program
- Possess the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Extreme commitment to safety, understands all elements of the emergency response plan.
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Possess valid Driver’s License
- Pass a drug test
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to speak and write English
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, work on elevated heights
- Must be able to work rotating shifts and be on call as needed
- Willingness to work outside
- Possesses a strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to complete minor repairs, utilizing various hand-tools
- Ability to work within a team environment
