What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipping / Receiving Clerk position at US DISPLAY GROUP INC?
This position is responsible for preparing and efficiently preparing outgoing shipments and receiving incoming shipments. Along with maintaining and organizing inventory to maintain operations productive and documenting damages.
Primary Responsibilities:

Assist the Shipping/Receiving personnel as needed.

Completes daily inbound receiving of product and packages, notifies recipients accordingly.

Management of opendock inbound website for scheduling
-
Create delivery receipts and packing slips.
-
Schedule trucks for shipments and track shipment status
-
Produce address labels as needed.
-
Coordinate, and maintain shipping/receiving requests and documents
-
Produce load tags, revise incorrect tags.
-
Receive proof of deliveries.
-
Expedite incoming materials (ink, corrugated, shippers, labels, etc.), mark as needed, remove from incoming trucks.

Distribute copies of labels per list.

Receive and distribute incoming UPS and FX shipments.
-
Log all received materials, count damaged materials
-
Pull samples of shippers, etc. as required.

Expedite customer supplied products, physically inventory incoming Thomas Nelson books.

Maintain inventory accuracy and location accuracy for stocked items

Perform all activities of the shipping/receiving department

Maintain digital and physical filling
-
Other duties assigned
Secondary Responsibilities:

Comply with all company policies and procedures
Requirements:
-
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
-
A minimum of 3-6 months experience in a similar role.

Ability to work in a fast environment

Keen attention to detail

In-depth understanding of company standards

Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.

Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds

Preferred Forklift Certification

Preferred FEDEX and UPS shipping experience

Computer proficiency including use Gmail, Google Sheets, Excel

Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.

Experience with WMS/ HRIS/ Amtech
Salary : $18 - $20
