US Display Group, Inc., a premier manufacturer of Point of Purchase displays. The Senior Maintenance Technician will uphold mechanical maintenance needs of our company and assist production to guarantee that all our products meet quality and customer expectations.
Description:
This position will support the Plant Manager and oversee the department in the event the manager is not available. Assist in operating, testing, maintaining and calibrating electromechanical equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams to determine how to assemble parts, machines, and other equipment as well as lay out a machine for installation
- Use specialized instruments to measure parts and ensure they meet specifications
- Inspect parts for defects
- Diagnose failures, determine parts and material requirements, and perform repairs as required to resume Operation on equipment
- Familiar with PLC controls for electro-mechanical troubleshooting
- Test the performance of electromechanical assemblies
- Install electronic components using soldering equipment and hand tools
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment such as an Automaton, Rotary Die Cutters, etc.
- Assist in monitoring inventory of spare parts, special need items, and tools as well as maintain inventory on a shared spreadsheet
- Analyze and record test results, and prepare written documentation
- Ensure and maintain the cleanliness of all equipment, tools, workstations, and overall facility.
- Responsible for all aspects of maintenance including ensuring OSHA lock-out/tag-out procedures are in place, 100% compliance with regulatory production & maintenance, (PMs), permits, and codes.
- Schedule repairs and projects while communicating with Supervisors and maintenance techs
- Worked with WMS/ Amtech
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in the Corrugated industry preferred
- 5 years' experience in welding experience preferred
- 5 years' experience in PLC experience preferred
- 5 years' experience industrial electrical
- Ability to work in a fast environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational and task management skills
- Strong computer proficiency including MS Office suite
- Basic math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
- In-depth understanding of company standards
- Comfortable standing or walking for long periods.
- Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Preferred Forklift Certified
