The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, and plans work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by higher level supervisors. Incumbent schedules work for the Environmental Section, which consists of sanitation, waste management, bed making and furniture moving. EDUCATION: This job does not have an education qualification requirement. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Housekeeping Aid Supervisor duties include, but are not limited to:
Performs quality assurance checks of linen distribution operations, EMS and BMS operations, and environmental care services.
Monitor employees to ensure proper usage of established aseptic and safety techniques and proper operational use of equipment.
Coordinates activities with other supervisors, such as providing assignments and equipment and supplies to accomplish the task.
Maintain an even flow of work activity when distributing work and monitor employees for proper working techniques and standards.
Monitor the distribution of linen items for compliance with daily par levels, and soil linen is collected per schedules.
Inspecting and evaluating the physical condition of assigned area to determine the type of work required.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm (including holidays). Once training concludes, the shift will change to Saturday - Wednesday (including weekends), 7am - 3:30pm.

Note : A full year of work is considered to be 35-40 hours of work per week. Part-time experience will be credited on the basis of time actually spent in appropriate activities.
