What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Analyst position at US Department of the Treasury?
This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Office of Wholesale, Systems Division, Information Security Support Branch. As a Program Analyst, you will analyze and advise on all provisions of Treasury's marketable debt securities program. The scope of this function involves Treasury securities market policies, rules, regulations, processes, reporting, compliance, and resiliency management, and risk management.
Qualifications:You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Specialized Experience for the GS-14: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
- Performing, documenting, and explaining comprehensive, thorough, and innovative analysis of the impact of policy changes and proposals for new features or operational processes; AND
- Presenting, briefing, and communicating effectively and persuasively with diverse audiences and in a variety of styles and formats (e.g., speeches, demonstrations, educational classes, reports, briefing papers); AND
- Applying cybersecurity policies to keep the bureau's programs secure from unwanted intrusion, unauthorized disclosure or use, theft, damage or loss of data to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Treasury data AND
- Applying laws, regulations, and policies to identify, safeguard, and obtain proper approval for release/distribution of sensitive information.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14, you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
