What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Program Analysis Division position at US Department of Education?
The Office of Planning, Evaluation and Policy Development (OPEPD) focuses on all matters relating to policy development, implementation, and review. We coordinate with offices across the Department to ensure that policy development and implementation are in line with the Secretary's priorities and guidance. The incumbent will oversee the Program Analysis Division in the Office of Budget Service in OPEPD.
This position may be detailed to another Federal agency.

ECQ 4: Leading People: This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a group toward meeting the organization's vision, mission, and goals, and to drive a high performance, high-accountability culture. This includes, when necessary, the ability to lead people through change and to hold individuals accountable.
ECQ 5: Achieving Results: This core qualification involves the demonstrated ability to achieve both individual and organizational results, and to align results to stated goals from superiors.
Note:
If you are a member of the SES or have been certified through successful participation in an OPM approved SES Candidate Development Program (SESCDP}, or have SES reinstatement eligibility, you must attach proof (e.g., SF-50, Certification by OPM's SES Qualifications Review Board (QRB}} of your eligibility for noncompetitive appointment to the SES.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS (TQs)
There are two (2) TQs:
TQ 1: Budget Formulation, Presentation & Appropriations: Knowledge of and experience in developing a budget and managing appropriations for a large governmental organization, including experience in developing and presenting budget options for consideration by senior leaders and or a legislative audience.
TQ 2: Grants Program Implementation and Evaluation: Experience in recommending actions to senior leadership to ensure the effective implementation of government grant programs and contributing to evaluation planning for government grant programs.Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
