Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated attorney with a minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, including strong motion practice, case management, and courtroom advocacy skills. Key Responsibilities
Handle a full caseload of litigation matters from inception through resolution
Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery, and other court filings
Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
Advise clients on case strategies, risks, and potential outcomes
Maintain compliance with applicable court rules, deadlines, and procedural requirements
Collaborate with colleagues and clients across multiple jurisdictions to align strategy and execution
Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service
What You Bring
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed and in good standing to practice law in New York
3 years of litigation experience, ideally in creditors’ rights, consumer finance, or financial services
Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational abilities
Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications
Admission to additional state courts a plus
Background in banking, compliance, or regulatory law
Experience coordinating multi-state litigation matters
What We Offer
Competitive Compensation: $110,000-$160,000 (commensurate with experience)
