Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-faceted appeals and litigation with a significant impact on our financial services clients
- Conduct thorough legal research and draft persuasive appellate briefs
- Present oral argument in appellate courts
- Develop legal strategies and provide client recommendations
- Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex legal matters
- Assist the General Counsel with litigation and related matters
Qualifications:
- J.D. and active membership in the Florida Bar
- Minimum of 2 years of appellate experience or 5 years of litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in appellate issues
- Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Experience managing deadlines and caseload
- A commitment to diligence, attention to detail, and continuous learning
