Fugitive Extradition Officer
US Corrections — Whites Creek/Nashville, TN
Full-Time | $40,000–$50,000 per year | 100% Travel
US Corrections is hiring Fugitive Extradition Officers / Prisoner Transportation Officers for our Nashville-area operation. This is a 100% traveling position transporting prisoners nationwide on behalf of law enforcement agencies.

Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old
- Must live within 3 hours of Whites Creek/Nashville, TN by vehicle
- Minimum 4 years of licensed driving experience
- Clean driving record for the past 5 years
- Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate valid for at least six months.
- Must have or obtain a REAL ID for domestic air travel
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. and remain physically active for extended periods
- Must successfully complete Basic Officer Training
- Must be willing to obtain required OC spray, shotgun, and Taser certifications
- Must have reliable transportation (Uber and Lyft are not approved)
- Must be able to communicate effectively by phone, text, and email
- Must be willing to travel 100% and be away from home 5–10 days or more at a time
Tennessee residents: A TN driver's license with an F endorsement is required before attending the academy.
Currently, we are not hiring any CDL License holders.
Training
Upcoming training academies are tentatively scheduled for:
- September 29, 2026
- November 3, 2026
Training is approximately two weeks in Whites Creek, TN. Classroom training is paid at $10.25/hour. No per-dem is provided during classroom training.

This is NOT a remote position. You must live within 3 hours of Whites Creek/Nashville by vehicle, TN and be available for nationwide travel.
