About the role
Join USCET, a nonprofit founded by Ambassador Julia Chang Bloch, to support programs that strengthen mutual understanding between the United States and China. You’ll gain hands-on experience across communications, events, research, and grant development while working directly with program staff and leadership.

What you’ll do
- Create & communicate: Draft website, newsletter, and social media content; design event assets; grow digital reach and engagement.
- Support programs & events: Help plan and execute events; prepare reports and briefings; contribute to ongoing initiatives on U.S.–China relations and education exchange.
- Research & develop: Conduct research to inform new program ideas and grants; draft concept notes, donor communications, and post-event summaries.
What we’re looking for
- Current junior/senior undergrad, graduate student, or recent grad.
- Strong writer/editor with interest in international relations, diplomacy, and U.S.–China relations.
- Organized, detail-oriented multitasker; proactive communicator.
- Comfortable with Google Workspace, Canva, Zoom Webinar, WordPress, LinkedIn/Instagram/X.
- Nice to have: graphic design, video editing, web/content management; Chinese language; prior internship experience.
