US Building Survey, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Matterport Technician based in Kansas City to document commercial buildings throughout the United States.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys travel, working independently, and using technology in the field. You'll play a key role in capturing accurate building information that architects, engineers, and national retail clients rely on.

Responsibilities
- Perform Matterport scans of commercial buildings nationwide.
- Photograph and document building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural components, and life safety equipment.
- Coordinate with property managers, tenants, and store personnel to gain access to spaces.
- Collect accurate field information following company standards.
- Maintain organized project documentation and upload data upon project completion.
- Travel independently to project locations across the country.
- Represent the company professionally while working at client sites.
Qualifications
- Matterport scanning experience (training available for the right candidate).
- Commercial building experience in construction, architecture, facilities management or engineering.
- Professional with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Highly organized and dependable with a strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- The ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, walk large sites and safely access rooftops.
- A valid driver's license with a good driving record and the ability to travel extensively.
- Reside in Kansas City and/or surrounding areas.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $55,000–$65,000
- Company-paid airfare, hotels, rental cars, and business travel expenses
- Daily meal per diem while traveling
