Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician. Your expertise will ensure the safe and efficient functioning of critical facility systems while providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
- Ex-military is a plus.
- Occasional travel to be expected.
- Government security clearance a plus.
Duties
- Operate HVAC systems, pumps, valves, electrical, mechanical and other industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues using schematics, technical drawings, and engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to diagnose system problems accurately.
- Conduct routine inspections of mechanical systems to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Perform preventive maintenance on boilers, HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment to extend lifespan and improve efficiency.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
- Contract management & other administrative duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with industrial maintenance, including mechanics, HVAC/R systems, plumbing, or related fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings effectively.
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, mechanical systems repair, and engineering troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment operation and field service procedures.
- Ability to perform maintenance tasks safely while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
