What You’ll Do:
- Lead Public Health Programs: Oversee and implement Army-wide disease prevention, epidemiology, and health promotion initiatives
- Conduct Health Assessments: Evaluate the health of Soldiers, perform medical surveillance, and provide preventive care to ensure peak physical and mental readiness
- Manage Environmental Health Programs: Supervise environmental health and sanitation operations, from vector control to water and food safety
- Advise on Health Policies: Work with Army leadership to develop and enforce public health policies, infection control, and wellness standards
- Work in Global Environments: Provide medical expertise in both clinical settings and challenging field environments, including combat zones and humanitarian missions
What We’re Looking For:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified in Preventive Medicine
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to meet Army physical and medical requirements
- Pass background check and security clearance
