Summary

About the position: This position will be assigned to the Little Rock AFB, AR - Rickenbackers Cafe and Bar.

This position is guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours but can be scheduled to a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Physical Effort: Requires frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing over 25 pounds. Continuous standing, walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending. Use of a ladder/step stool, powered cleaning equipment may be required.

Duties

• Prepares hot beverages such as cappuccinos, brewed coffees, lattes, espressos, hot chocolate and etc. by selecting proper ingredients and following recipes.
• Serves mixed beverages such as iced coffees, fruit drinks, smoothies and etc. by selecting proper ingredients and following recipes.
• Serves other cold beverages and food items such as soda, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries and etc.
• Receives payment, operates cash register, and makes and returns change to patrons.
• Sets up/cleans tables for customers and replenishes condiment items and stocks as necessary. Also performs cleaning tasks.
• Assists with inventories, identifies items for re-ordering.

• Must be 18 years of age.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Qualifying Experience:

Ability to follow simple written and oral instructions. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning, and to operate simple machines. Skill in doing tasks with several steps and must use judgement in sequencing tasks. Knowledge of sanitation standards in handling and serving food, and for cleaning simple equipment and work area.

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
