What does the role look like?
As an HR Coordinator at Urva Prep Center, you'll be responsible for own the employee lifecycle, from the moment someone applies to the day they leave. You'll be the single point of contact for all things people operations, keeping our team compliant, organized, and accountable as we scale.
Your responsibilities include:
- Hiring & Recruitment: Posting job listings, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and extending offers to qualified candidates
- Onboarding: Setting up new hires on all company apps and software, completing I-9 verification, and ensuring day-one readiness
- Offboarding: Removing departing employees from all systems and apps, managing termination paperwork, and handling final pay coordination
- Performance Management: Tracking employee performance metrics, managing bonus eligibility, and maintaining records of each employee's standing and value to the company
- Payroll Review: Performing final checks on payroll before processing to ensure accuracy
- Policy Enforcement: Monitoring adherence to company policies and addressing violations through proper documentation and escalation
- Terminations: Managing the firing process professionally and in compliance with applicable employment law
Requirements
- Fully fluent and bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience managing the full employee lifecycle, including hiring and terminations.
Shift
- 7:00am - 11:00am, Mon-Fri (20hrs/week).
Compensation
- $20.00 per hour.
