What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time LPN position at Ursuline Assisted Living?
Ursuline Sisters Senior Living is looking for a part-time LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) in our assisted living facility to provide routine and direct nursing care to elderly residents and Sisters. Nurses assist with daily living activities to ensure a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Administration: Safely pass and administer daily medications and treatments as prescribed, utilizing medication carts and following the "Six Rights" of medication administration.
- Health Monitoring: Conduct regular health assessments (e.g., checking blood pressure, temperature, weight, and pulse) and report any changes in resident conditions to the Resident Care Coordinator.
- Resident Care: Assist residents with personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and eating when they require extra support.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of medication passes, treatments, and resident progress.
- Team Collaboration: Work alongside caregivers and cazre teams.
- Family & Patient Communication: Keep residents informed about their care, and answer questions from family members regarding their loved one's well-being.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Licensing: Active, unencumbered LPN license in Ohio.
- Experience: Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing is highly preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication, critical thinking, and the ability to make prompt judgments during emergencies.
- Background: Clean background check and passing of drug screenings as required by state health regulations.

- Schedules: Typically involves flexible scheduling, which may include set part-time days, rotating weekends, or specific shifts (e.g., evenings or overnight) depending on facility need
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
