Position Summary: Seasonal Scale Attendant
This position is for the fall harvest time frame beginning after Sept 15 and ending once harvest is complete but before the end of the calendar year. The Scale Attendant is responsible for handling inbound and outbound scales, probing trucks, familiarizing themselves with customers, answering phones, and basic data entry. Additional office related duties will be assumed as needed including filing, issuing contracts, pricing loads, and issuing settlements. Hours for this position are negotiable but prefer weekend availability and a few hours on weekdays.

Essential skills and experience
- Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Excellent customer service skills required.
- Timeliness and accuracy required.
- Proficient in Basic math
- Proficient computer skills, will increase the ability to utilize our software package and expand upon duties
- Knowledge and understanding of grain markets, commodities, and contract pricing options would be a plus but not required
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
