What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Compliance Field Coordinator position at URS Group?
The Quality Compliance Field Coordinator (QCFC) will observe, assess and assist professional car haulers during the loading and unloading of auto transport equipment at company or customer sites and enforce customer required protocols to ensure the safe, damage-free handling and securement of our customers’ vehicles. Additionally, the QCFC will serve in a Customer Service role through actively traveling to customer locations to ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires a self-motivated, detail oriented, professional with the ability to monitor many car haulers and many pieces of equipment simultaneously, paying close attention to adherence to proper loading and unloading techniques. This position requires the QCFC to spend the majority of time outside, in the elements, as they observe professional car haulers on the safe, damage-free handling and securement of customers’ vehicles at their assigned locations.
Job Duties
- Serve as a point of contact for professional car haulers to help resolve all issues as it pertains to loading and unloading
- Monitor professional car haulers on the safe, damage-free handling and securement of customers’ vehicles
- Monitor and train professional car haulers on the proper and thorough process of conducting pre-trip inspections
- Direct professional car haulers to fix all errors noted in the loading and unloading process before driving
- Complete standard audits of loads at time of loading by professional car haulers and report audits to Quality management or Terminal management staff
- Help to mentor new and inexperienced car haulers on proper inspection of our customers’ vehicles
- Perform customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Required
- College degree or at least one year of related experience, preferably in a trucking environment
- Strong oral, verbal communication, and typing skills
- Preferred
- Previous supervisory or management experience
- Knowledge of FMCSA and DOT regulations
