Practice Administrator – Urology Clinics of North Texas

Urology Clinics of North Texas (UCNT) provides specialty urologic care to patients across North Texas. We're looking for an experienced healthcare leader to guide operations across several of our clinic locations and help our teams deliver consistent, high-quality, patient-centered care.
About the Role
As Practice Administrator, you'll lead clinical and business operations for a multi-site practice supporting 6–10 or more providers. You'll develop and supervise our Clinic Managers, partner closely with physicians, and be accountable for the practice's financial performance, compliance, staffing, and patient experience. This role reports to the Regional Practice Administrator.
What You'll Do
- Direct daily operations across multiple clinic locations, standardizing workflows, policies, and service expectations.
- Hire, coach, and develop Clinic Managers and site leads, and manage staffing and coverage across sites.
- Develop and manage the operating budget, monitor performance, and explain variances.
- Monitor revenue cycle performance in partnership with Billing, including charge capture, collections, A/R, and denials.
- Serve as the primary operational partner to physicians and advanced practice providers, reviewing productivity, access, and template utilization.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, CLIA, and other regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Improve patient access and satisfaction through scheduling, template design, and workflow improvements.
- Lead projects such as new provider onboarding, site openings, and system changes.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field. A master's degree (MHA or MBA) is preferred.
- 5–7 years of progressive healthcare management experience, including at least 3 years managing multiple locations or a practice with 6 or more providers.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, variance analysis, and revenue cycle knowledge.
- A proven ability to lead through other managers and hold teams accountable.
- Comfort using data to spot trends and present recommendations to physicians and leadership.
- Proficiency in EMR and practice management systems, plus Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred).
- Specialty or surgical practice experience preferred. Urology experience is a plus, and CMPE certification is preferred.
Schedule & Travel
- On-site, Monday through Friday, divided among assigned locations.
- Regular travel between clinic sites. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.
- Occasional after-hours availability for urgent matters. A cell phone reimbursement is provided.
